Regardless of the failure of later Neo Geo hardware, games for the original MVS and AES have been well received. The system spawned several long-running and critically acclaimed series, mostly 2D fighters, including Fatal Fury, Art of Fighting, Samurai Shodown and The King of Fighters, as well as popular games in other genres such as the Metal Slug and Baseball Stars series. The Roll-Up Pack List is a record of known ROMs that can be placed on an SD card for a complete Darksoft Neo Geo MVS & AES Multi setup. It includes every Neo Geo MVS/AES game that is playable on the Multis. I'll update my lists whenever new content is available.

Neo Geo – a system of arcade machines, released by SNK (Shin Nihon Kikaku) in October 1990 in Japan. But also the system has the full name of Neo Geo Multi Video System (abbreviated as Neo Geo MVS). Neo Geo means new world. Shortly after the release of MVS, SNK decided to conquest the market of home video games. Console called Neo Geo Advanced Entertainment System (Neo Geo AES) was released and it was completely identical to the arcade machine. The resemblance was in software and hardware configuration, however, had a different slot for cartridges. Obviously, SNK didn’t want that AES would be used as a gaming machine. Smart move, but still there were some enthusiasts who have created an adapter – Phantom MVS converter thingy. By the way, the price for home system was $500 which at that time considered a big amount of money. However, up to 4 people at once could play on it!

NeoGeo ROM Sets for RetroPie Okay.so be gentle with me since I'm a n00b, but I'm having trouble finding a set of Neo Geo ROMs that will work with the emulators in RetroPie. I tried searching on this topic and didn't get any pertinent hits-any help/guidance (other than to go do something to myself that's anatomically impossible) would be.
